William Chan is an experienced training and development professional specialised in financial services training
Before and during his study at the Chinese University, he worked for five years on part-time basis as an assistant accounting officer with a group of companies engaged in import-export trading and property investment.
After he graduated from the Chinese University (BSocSci (Hons) Major Economics Minor Psychology), he worked in the banking industry as a commercial lending officer in 1984. He then joined the Chartered Institute of Bankers in 1987 and was qualified an Associate of the Chartered Institute in 1991.
Meanwhile, he completed his 4-year part-time studies in Chinese Law with the Peking University, PRC and was awarded a Professional Diploma in Chinese Law.
In 1995 he was awarded the Financial Studies Diploma by the Chartered Institute of Bankers for the completon of all the taught courses of an MBA program organised by the Institute for Financial Management of the Manchester Business School and the University of Wales, Bangor. He is doing his masters thesis.
He is a life Associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers 1995 and was (1998) recently admitted a Senior Associate member of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance (AIBF) for his professional qulifications and experience.
William is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, UK, Associate of the Institute of Cost and Executive Accountants, UK and a Certified Financial Consultant member of the Institute of Financial Consultants, US, Full Member of the Hong Kong Securities Institute, Associate of the Hong Kong Association of Financial Advisors
